Preparing
for H1N1 Flu Virus
Regarding the H1N1 Flu, information
available through the U.S. government (www.flu.gov)
advises parents that the best defense is to educate your child about
these simple but effective precautions. Additional
information is
available at the following web address:
http://www.flu.gov/plan/ 1) Practice good hand hygiene by washing with soap and water and using disinfectant hand sanitizers. Mrs. Beach has
been having our students wash their hands before and after using
computers in Computer Class.
2) Always wash hands
before eating.
3) Cover mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and then wash your hands. 4) If you feel sick or experience flu-like symptoms
5) Clean surfaces
before using them whenever possible, especially lunch tables and
computer keyboards.
6) Use the disinfectant
hand sanitizer provided in classrooms and the office.
7) Do not put pens or
other items in your mouth. Do not share lip gloss, Chapstick,
etc...
